A Million Ways To Die
There are a million ways to die,
And we each must meet our maker,
It doesn’t matter to which God you cry,
Whether Muslim or Christian Quaker.
It may well come tomorrow,
Or death could come knocking next year,
But there is no point existing in sorrow,
Always afraid or frozen in fear.
Instead treat each second like a gift,
Each minute like an extravagant prize,
Let every hour cause your spirit to lift,
Greet each day with amazement and surprise.
Realise how lucky you are,
To be part of this mad crazy show,
Nothing makes sense but that just increases suspense,
Until we get to wherever we go.
