I Pray
“Lord,
I pray for my brothers and sisters.
I pray for the one who loses unseen tears at night,
I pray for the one whose dreams have put up their last fight,
I pray for those working hard to uphold what's right,
I pray for those who provide their smiles; a welcome sight,
I pray for them; those whose wounds need binding up tight,
I pray for them to view their life again with delight,
I pray they will be loved strongly, with all Your might,
That even in their lowest depths, they would touch Your height.
I pray You will fix the tatters.
