Driving
I get my licsense soon
My parents say we’re doomed
I reach for a glass of water
I was never good at parking
And comment back all snarky
I equated it to being a bad daughter
All they ever did was care
And they tried their best to be there
But I have their love a slaughter
For reasons I can’t quite explain
Besides a growing pain
The size of an otter
I stopped sending messages
They were confused you could guess and
I touched a stove even hotter
I couldn’t avoid them forever
They confronted me and my twisted endeavors
I said the women in my mind, I should’ve fought her
I’m good at lying
I’m good at crying
And I’ve gotten amazing at driving
