It could be worse, in these moments I can see a bit of light,
I'm alive despite the many attempts of my turbulent life,
Not listening to the voice today, that seek to remind me of my faults,
Just gonna embrace the day, and what it brings is what I want,
Peace, gonna give myself a break to release every negativity,
Step by step is my mantra and I will get there, I will be free,
I embrace these moments within me, for they are quite rare,
Being gentle with myself a mission, giving me a lot of care,
I can't control everything and it's time I accept the truth for what it is,
Life is a hard maze to travel, and of course it comes with hits,
But If I can get up to face another day, I am not really as weak,
And though sometimes it hurts, my transformation is at its peak,
So cheers to the small victories, pull the curtains asids and let hope in,
Depression is no master here and I won't allow it to win.
