I'm trapped in my Boombox and I can't escape this place.
The persistent bombardment of music is an addiction I can't erase.
It plays a different song every time they turn it on.
When I finally fall asleep it's usually due to trying to sing along.

It becomes the only world I comprehend.
I don't know any other way to be.
Everyday it's the same routine to wake up and hear music playing.

I have went through my CD collection and have memorized them all before.
Becoming an unspoken DJ to my life has been an arduous, ongoing process.
I'm not going anywhere soon, but stuck here forever more.
