In The Middle
Gazing at the evening sky I see the moon settling low,
Having thoughts of you, Reminding me that we share the same light,
It is one of the constant things that we can be certain.
As I stare at its splendor,
My thoughts wonder if you are beholding its beauty,
Shining down on each of us with no judgment,
Just allowing us to share this atmospheric pleasure.
Its brightness brings a paleness to all other lights around,
Which on this evening are dim in comparison,
As the cerulean shade of the night sky compliments its alabaster white.
A spectacular sight as this I get to experience as I stand here in the middle of the universe privileged to be a part of such a moment as this being able to share it with the rest of the world.
