It will relieve your pain.
But how can a tiny tablet
Mend the fractures of my mind?

I swallow it down, hoping for solace.
But the ache remains, a persistent throb.
The pill dissolves, leaving me hollow.
A temporary fix for a permanent storm.

The doctor's words echo in my ears.
"Just take this pill," a simple solution.
But the battle rages on within me.
And the pill can only do so much.

So I search for healing beyond the pill,
In the embrace of understanding and empathy.
For the pain caused by mental health
Cannot be numbed by a mere tablet.
