I may not be famous and wealthy, but I am rich in all of the qualities a person should have and am liked by others.
Even though I live alone I am NEVER lonely.
I may not be your gift to God's earth, but I AM God's gift to this world.
I may not have a thousand acquaintances but I do have a few friends who have a big heart.
Even though you may see me cry at times it does not mean that I am sad.
My happiness comes from within me and my sadness comes from the things you say and do.
I will not presume to know who you really are so please do not assume you know the real me.
Until you have walked in my shoes stop assuming and pretending that you know my pain, my joy, my hardships and my life.
Although I feel locked in a cage at times, I am as free as the wind and my freedom lies with my God and my God lies within.
What do I have to be grateful for?
Everything!
I may not be where I need to be in life but I thank God I am not where I use to be.
