A fortunate shot resulted in a goal,
As if it were a lucky rabbit's foot you possess,
People lose control,
A million or two more or less,
the chances zero to one
then a foul

faces drop, curve and fold to express the painful sting of anxiety and disappointment,
the possibility of a loss
VAR makes a rhythmic artistry of this exact moment

Unknowingly
it becomes etched onto the many hearts present
So we carry it along
burdens and trophies alike
either way each of us ,
overjoyed or disappointed represent a particular flavor in the cocktail of this goal
And will forever remain landmarks in history
