I wish to be a beacon of happiness for those I love
But all I bring is sadness and worry for those around me
Such a negative aura I have
Takes away all the happiness people may see

The sunken feeling of being a dark cloud around people you cherish
That takes a toll on me everyday
To know I make people concerned makes me just wanna disappear and perish

Yet when I see that it is love that people have for me
I see the bright side of life
And I guess the key is to keep smiling through the strife
Even when things seem awful
And always remember it could always be worse ...
