Kids Poem - The mischievous cat of Mirzapur,
KIDS POEM :The mischievous cat of Mirzapur

The mischievous cat of Mirzapur,
Twirling and spinning like a ball,
Steals everyone's heart with its charming eyes.

It's a thief, sneaking around,
Looking for its next meal, meowing loudly,
It wants a soft bed to sleep on.

It roams around the house, exploring,
Chasing after toys, and pouncing on them,
It drinks milk, eats food, and runs away.

It sleeps all day, snuggled up tight,
But at night, it goes on the prowl, hunting with all its might,
It catches a snake and kills it with a swat,
And then comes back home, proud of its feat.

But the dog sees the snake and interferes,
Not letting the cat have its prize,
The cat gets angry, its fur standing on end,
"Why are you eyeing my food?" it seems to say.

The lady of the house comes out,
With a plate of dosas, and scolds them both,
Not distinguishing between the dog and the cat,
She chases them away, shooing them off.
