Now they come for the vote
to be assured a win over all
X marks the spot of our decisions
is it theirs, or is it for the other side
yet, they'll come knocking
where before they knew us not
we were to them just a number
over whom they've had full control
yet without the glory
without the power of X
they'll knock on doors pretending
above all we now matter to them
oh, the great pretenders
for a moments work
they'll sell their souls' if you're buying
regardless it be heaven or hell
