The days were unending as were the nights,
She waited and waited and waited,
But there seemed no hope in sight…
she could finally see
every of her dreams
crashing down like a meteorite
that leaves a hole on land
like her heart that bears
a hole from the crashing dreams
under the umbrella of patience
she waited for a long haul
but yet
her longing for him
remained a fading wish
it's said that time heals
but who knows if time
will have the upper hand in her life
