The days were unending as were the nights,
She waited and waited and waited,
But there seemed no hope in sight.
She was weary and her soul troubled,
She wished she hadn't made certain choices in life,
She'll wait her whole life she thought,
But she was strong and determined.
She'll wait if she has to,
She'll fight if she has to,
She'll never let her problems crawl over her.
She thought of the peace she'll have in the end,
And that gave her hope.
