On a rainy day...
In the season of monsoon,
It started in the afternoon.
The sun going down and the clouds getting grey.
The raindrops falling down,
Pitter-patter, pitter-patter,
Making us feel happier.
The birds sing melodiously,
Cuckoo's cooing in the rain,
The peacocks dancing in the rain,
Making our minds refreshed.
The dew on the leaves and flowers,
Making it look fresh and new.
The smell of mother earth,
Making us relaxed.
The water droplets falling down on me,
As a small smile appears.
The beautiful greenery, very breathtaking,
But soon it slows down and the sun slowly shows up,
Filling the sky with the wonderful rainbow.
