Starving For Peace
We've failed to even grasp the meaning of
peace, We let our morality swept away by the vicious rain, the cries of mankind
echo An expression of grief dispersed as
a gloomy shadow carving hope on the sky
No way to escape from this deep despair

People are being buried by wreckage
Only their remains are arising from the ruins
Blood splattered everywhere even on the
newborn child who is sleeping quietly
wrapped in soft white cloth A fiend looks at him and laughs...
Praying is futile as our lives were being played by the greed driven, now we can't
even entrust our fate in those hands again
There're no eyes here which can see, how much we've burdened by this never ending
sorrow that always keeps itself close to us

Red handprints on the wall resemble our memorial, vestiges of blurred out days
A wound so profound that can't be stitch
Tracing the stench of rotting corpses the
vultures encircling the sky and descending
towards the barren land fluttering their wings in the puddle of blood

In this inevitable adversity our hearts crying for help but even if we extend our hands they'll definitely end up in nil
And our dreadful thoughts mixed with misery will going to meet their fate
The image which carries the future is looking ripped and distorted

The remains of our loved ones are scattering and floating on the river
Looking at this haunting scene
Our hearts can only grieve
