Nailed to a cross with misery and pain
with a heart for people, compassion flowed
as he prayed and took the cup of sacrifice.
He knew it was the only way.

The final breath, thunder struck,
darkness came, breaking the barrier.
Evil would never win against the love
that flowed from the king’s interior.

The awe and wonder of that great day
reminds the world there is no nothing greater
than sacrificing one’s own life
for the lives of others.

Nothing can defeat true love
with its mighty fight and strength,
the bond of love for each other
holds us together without a tether.
