Grief
I speak to you.

“In the quiet of our room where your laughter still resides,
I reach out through the silence, where your spirit still abides.
I whisper 'I miss you,' though I know you're not here,
In the soft glow of the moonlight, I feel you near.

I'm speaking to you, though heaven's apart,
Your memory's a melody in the beat of my heart.
I say 'I love you,' like I've done from the start,
In this dance of the lonely, you're my missing part.

Every corner of this house echoes with your name,
I'm holding conversations, though it's not the same.
I tell you about my day, and I pause for your voice,
In the depths of the silence, I still rejoice.

They say time heals all, but it feels so untrue,
Without you here beside me, the world's lost its hue.
So I'll keep on speaking, to the stars up above,
Sending words to you, wrapped in endless love.

I'm speaking to you, as I gaze at the night,
Telling you stories in the pale moonlight.
I say 'I'll be okay,' with all of my might,
In this journey of sorrow, you're my guiding light.

So here's to the words that fly on the wind,
To the love that's eternal, the love that never ends.
In the whispers of the night, when I'm feeling alone,
I speak to you, till I finally meet you again
