Fall
If I take the fall, the leap of faith,
There should be nothing to break
Bother not with your palms,
For your prayer's in vain
Bother not with the alarms,
There's a larger flame at stake;
My spark's fizzled up by the rain
Let the sirens sing their songs
As I dive from the stage,
Raise not a sign to commemorate
For we were strangers upon encounter—
Please remember to forget that tower;
Where I levitated from when the cries
Swelled in volume, the screams grew louder
I apologise for such a fright
As you hear the crunching of my spine
My beloved are miles apart,
Yet they'll reunite to the sound of my heart
Thumping away, to remedy a soul lost
In the sands of time, washed away
