Within my soul
An invisible war within my soul,
My inner self and my body are clashing.
A conflict of needs , a confict of desires,
In an endless struggle, my spirit pleads.
The desires of the spirit, the call of the flesh,
A constant struggle, an endless battle.
I seek the peace that is so elusive,
Who shall win this battle?
Through the storms of doubt
and the winds of change,
I seek a balance, a rearrangement.
To merge the two, to find a truce.
I wish to see a unified whole,
in which I can feel free.
I guess I'm not yet there,
A journey of growth, unknown path,
To make my inner world my own.
