A Birds Eye View
The simple bird it flies so high
Amidst the clouds up in the sky

Through rays of sun and cloudy days
With all seeing eyes, it sets its gaze

Upon the things we rarely see
A peak of a mountain, the tallest tree

It sees a predator hunt its prey
And sees the change of night to day

The simple bird sees so much more
It sees the rich and sees the poor

It sees destruction and poverty
It sees pollution of land and sea

It sees us doing the best we can
And yet the suffering of beast and man

A birds eye view, for what it's worth
A witness to our dying earth
