If only you had listened,
sounds of this heart's beating,
lub dub, lub dub...becoming faster,
when we met, whenever you speak.
And you would have known,
those days of my anticipation,
excitements and nervousness,
the building up, of my courage.

If only you had listened,
to those surging emotions,
how much I wanted to convey,
and desires that had sprouted.
And you would have learned,
the intensity of my feelings,
every time when I whispered,
your name, within my thoughts.

If only you had listened,
to the desperation, of my requests,
of the wishes, and the dreams,
that you ignored, or left unseen.
And you would have realized,
the sincerity of my intentions,
for, we could have seen the lights,
of our shared future...
