A Still To Be Found
Not even an hour
since I've been awake
but there's a traffic jam
in full throttle
up in the sky
no time to think
no space too, at all
it's full speed ahead
over all
I need some peace
I need a still
help me to find it
if you will
a place where there's quiet
a place of calm
a place to just be
without any noise
it seems there's nowhere left
free from it all
if you know a place
treasure its ground
there's not many left
places to be found
go out of your way
visit it every day
cause before you know it
someone will take it away
or fill it with a variety of sounds
of various kinds
so there'll never be
a quiet place
not even a still,
a quiet place anywhere to be found...
