When I saw you for the first time
words elluded my mouth as if
it became desert dry
all seemed to be an illusion,
a seed deceit sprouting in my head,
the words u uttered out broke down
the silence and brought back a sense
of reality,
I asked myself a lot of questions!,

should I hug you?
should I offer a hand shake?
was a kiss out of a question
or a wave from distance high
most appropriate...

looking deep into your eyes
I noticed a struggle,
searching for a polite way of questioning,
a lot of why's consumed your being!
but all I could do was to smile and giggle
a little as a first sight of an awkward pause,
without realizing the change before us
our stars realigned again and lit the slay
all that has transpired before had tripped and fallen into a black hole of history
