After The House of Nightmares
A house often seen in nightmares,
the kind you spend a night at your own risk,
with a mouth full of fevered prayers.
When you emerge a survivor in a pace that's brisk,
into a vast sea of sunflowers you arise,
a large field standing proud.
and giving up is what your presence denies.

of the storm inside that left a mark,
growing now towards the rising sun,
after refusing to succumb to the dark.
