Countries are Siblings
Fighting each other
Over territories and resources

Like little children
Fighting over a toy
A food, a space, or game

Fighting who's stronger
Believing that they have their parent's approval
Believing that they had the Almighty
On their very side

Fighting who's superior
Who's upright and bright

And when it comes who's the sib
to whom I will take side?

I abstain.

I'm no longer part
Of the fights

I have brothers
On the other sides of the world

I have friends
From other continents

I have sisters
From different states

I am here
But I am not my country's citizen

I gave up who's great
And righteous

I flee
I abstain.
