Here we are, you and I, Running through a Maze of Fog and Haze
Undergrowth all about us where the Flowers Wilt and Fungi Stays
The Barren Fields are Plucked clean and Rot becomes its Charm
And little Imps or Dwarfish Elves may Tickle dear but do no Harm

Now who do you suppose we'd See still trekking such Dark Way
But Dragon Slayer Marc Von Player with Sword and Sheath to Slay
And over yonder 'gainst this Glade a Wyvern Breathes Red Fire
It Blackens a lil who seek to Leave this Cursed Rotted Shire

The woods grow dark, the sun retreats in fright,
Tall, twisted trees reach out with gnarled might.

A shiver crawls, the man with fear is bound,
Each rustle whispers secrets on the ground.

The path, unseen, a serpent's slithering hold,
He longs to flee, his courage turns to cold.

Sunlight's touch, a fading, distant dream,
Moss-covered branches block out the sun's bright gleam.

Strange shapes appear, eyes glow in the night,
The forest whispers, filled with chilling fright.

A hidden stream, a gurgling, unseen flow,
His heart beats fast, a terror he can't know.

Will unseen things in shadows take their toll?
The mystic woods, a place to lose his soul.
