Winter-Soring
53:5.1 Time and again had Jesus dashed to pieces the hopes of his apostles, repeatedly had he crushed their fondest expectations, but no time of disappointment or season of sorrow had ever equaled that which now overtook them. And, too, there was now admixed with their depression a real fear for their safety. They were all surprisingly startled by the suddenness and completeness of the desertion of the populace. They were also somewhat frightened and disconcerted by the unexpected boldness and assertive determination exhibited by the Pharisees who had come down from Jerusalem. But most of all they were bewildered by Jesus’ sudden change of tactics. Under ordinary circumstances they would have welcomed the appearance of this more militant attitude, but coming as it did, along with so much that was unexpected, it startled them.
Winter-Spring
Winter came back overnight.
It would snow, if the clouds were right.
Winter temps will yield to Spring
A temporary Winter sings.

It’s gonna be a warmer Summer.
The humid air will be a bummer!
Time goes on, the farmers grow.
We will exist through Summer’s flow.

The flow of warmth begins to shift.
A tilted earth is quite the gift.
Seasonal change helps us exist.
We’re kept busy, and make our lists.

Accomplishment!? What have we made?
A way of life – a techno craze.
I trust the Lord, who knows us well.
His Love will save this place we dwell.

God has a plan, and we’re on track.
He knows us well, His plan’s exact.
We will see how life works out.
We’re all asked to do our part.

We all have a part to play.
Give God a chance to show His way.
Love will rule, and wars will cease.
But for now, some things increase.

Thank You, Father, though there’s war,
Though lies exist upon our shores,
I trust Your rule through the Most Highs.
Renewal comes after we die!
