my heart feels the weight of silence
words unspoken, feelings dismissed
an ache that lingers in the shadows

Vulnerability meets indifference
a fragile spirit retreating
behind walls built from past wounds
guarding what’s left of my open soul

Yet in the quiet, I find strength
a whisper of courage to keep trying
to share my truth, despite the fear
of being broken, stolen again

Each step forward, a testament
to the resilience within
and though the journey is hard
I am worthy of being heard, of being seen

In the embrace of understanding
