nightmare in progress...
in the darkest of the night
When darkness, so thick can be felt,
Listen closely,
For the egg shaped man who bedevils this place,
His yellow, feverished eyes leer at you,
His long, spidery and hairy arms stretched to pluck you away from your bed,
As his fingers, bony and starved, seek your flesh,
Be careful for he's there in the shadows,
Be careful of the egg shaped man
Who watches from the shadow
And creeps on you when you least expect it.

Hear the wood creaking
Creak, creak, creak,
As he tiptoes to your bedplace,
Don't look into his eyes,
Many a kids have lost their minds gazing into those abysses,
The egg shaped man wants knows where to find you,
The wind whirls and hurls
The doors crash and break
Break, break, break
The egg shaped man
Who watches from the shadow
Skinks and sneaks ever slowly to your room
Can you hear the see the twirling shadows
Twirl, twirl, twirl...
