A Memory, A thought, A Story
I wrote a story about a topic I hate,
About an experience and the actions I'd take..
& yes I want to get rid of it,
I don't know what help it could provide,
what lesson it teaches & freedom is found inside
Is it just a pointless story congested in mind,
Or does it serve a purpose to expose a lie
I know
Poets tend to explore to deepen their palette,
But I'm unsure of this subject.
It may be simple to a large demography,
I just don't have it in me..
I read it again today in my draft,
I guess it'll remain in rest like a old photograph,
while I talk to myself to figure out why?
what inspired such a thought in the night?
I can't deny,
I was reminiscing about old friends & old times,
bringing me to my knees to cry
"How can someone be so wicked,
To claim another soul as a rag
to serve a selfish need,
inconsiderate of the damages
And the suffering they'd have to bleed,
to relinquish themselves from that evil
Just to be unsure of their healing
....
Because of the contants in a memory"
