I hope when you see me among the stars,
You'll see a child, happy, from afar.
Silent torture, my soul, my heart,
Bearing burdens that tear me apart.
I should talk, they say, to soothe the ache,
But in silence, my pain, I shall partake.
If I write a letter, it will be my goodbye,
A confession, a sorrow, a tear-stained lie.

In your heart, my memory, a light in the dark."
