Poem: My Mother In Heaven

I am always told that there is a reason.
They always tell me, that time heals all wounds.

But neither time ,
nor reason will change
the way I feel.

I miss the days we shared
You are always in my heart mom,
I cherish every memory of you.

I love and miss you more everyday,
especially around Mother's Day.

I long for the day we will hug again,
in Jesus' presence, in Heaven.

In every whisper of the wind,
I hear your voice calling my name.

The scent of flowers reminds me of your gentle touch,
as if you're still here beside me.

The stars in the night sky shimmer like your loving gaze,
watching over me from above.

Memories of your laughter fill the silence, bringing warmth to my soul.

Though you're no longer here,
your love remains my guiding light,
guiding me through life's darkest nights.

Until we meet again, dear mother,
I'll hold onto the love you left behind, knowing it will never fade away.
