Lost
When the clouds pours wrath, the earth rejoice
Thunders bolt streak in wonder, in relentless joy
Saplings soak in warmth of a remembered favour
Telling the God a moment of reverent bliss
With no body, form, space or way
Painting the skies a heavenly hue
Shrieks of winds in defiant wonder
With the trees paying obeisance to the earth
As all scamper in fright of a splash
The teens huddled in blanket
With mugs of warm something cheering on the inside
Slaps of feet, grabbing hands tears off her child
Left wandering with no destination in sight
The mother laments at the God
Would that I had been observant
Would that I courted with safety
All the remorse, the contrite turned not back the hands of time
For the child is gone
Gone with the wind...
