She needed love and affection,
But in return, she got emotional abuse.
She needed to be hold with safety,
But she was used as a doormat,
And supply for a narcissist.
Her parents didn’t love her,
Nor accept her.
They just degraded her,
And made her feel worthless.
Her mother would call her handicap,
And disabled and wanted her to kill herself.
She cried in silence, no one to notice her tears.
At school, she was severely bullied and depressed.
So she would isolate herself in the darkness,
And listen to music instead.
That girl needed a father,
To make her feel safe,
But her parents divorced,
From an early age.
Her parents would
always argue over money and wealth.
This is how dark as it can get.
To know that you are not loved,
Nor do you belong anywhere.
Even your own friends can turn,
their backs on you.
So choose wisely instead.
I just want to live in peace,
is that too much to ask for.
I’ve always fought for
my happiness,
But it seems like I’m not getting anywhere,
My parents seek to destroy me,
They’ve had it planned all along,
I just wanted to feel safe and protected,
But they tell me that I’m in the wrong.
As an abused victim.
