Lazy Boy
Lazing upon a comfortable throne,
With cushions so soft, I feel at home.
My limbs sprawl out without a care,
In this Lazy Boy, I can sit and stare.
No need to rush, no need to strive,
Just a simple joy in being alive.
With a remote in hand, I rule my domain,
And the outside world, I can easily disdain.
My feet rest on an ottoman of my choice,
As the world outside seems to lose its voice.
In this haven, I'm the king of my own fate,
And time seems to slow down, as I leisurely wait.
There's a satisfaction in being lazy,
In this recliner, it feels almost hazy.
My mind wanders as I relax and unwind,
And all my troubles seem to be left behind.
The world outside may be a chaotic mess,
But in this Lazy Boy, I couldn't care less.
For a moment, I can escape the daily grind,
And just be lazy, without any kind.
So let the world spin and rush around,
In this recliner, I am perfectly sound.
For there's nothing more blissful than this,
Being a lazy boy, in a state of pure bliss.
