Do you want it to remain forever
even though you know it won't?
Things keep changing, earth revolving
even if you wish they don't.
Everyone's aware it's gonna pass
and yet they hope to make it last.
While they give it everything,
they just don't see it evolving fast.
People get new versions
of themselves, like every week
A new mindset, new perspective
a new way to see the peak.
And they lose friends just like you do,
they too know that they've changed
but somehow still accept the fact
that it was all well arranged.
And I ask you, what will you gain?
by expecting what is untrue?
When you know it's one day
gonna be nothing but pain to you.
So learn how to accept a change

and it really hurts to be me for sure
