Green
The lightest breeze, a soft, sweet, summer sigh,
That whispers through the leaves on tallest limbs,
Emrald and peridot gainst topzy sky,
Anehoring Earth to those heavens it skims,
So many forms, each one so beautiful,
Which capture poets hearts and artists hands.
Life support and sheild wonderful,
Although not everybody understands.
With vast steel jaws men tear your fragile flesh,
Uncaring of the treasures you embrace.
Refusing to see lifes entwining mesh
Needs all its precious elements in place.
When did we humans lose humanity,
We care more for gold than living tree.
