Marks of Excellence
As she evolves, grows, manifests,
She came to understand,
The meaning of the world "unstoppable".
She unassailably led,
Parade after parade of success trains,
Until she made a name,
A then they said it was not allowed,
For a woman to own much power and affluence.
She would grow,
Too powerful to be subdued.
Her answers were written,
In sands of time and slabs of stone,
That even her detractors,
Could not gainsay her influence.
They join together with the forces,
To applaud the consistent, exceptional,
Undisputed mark of significance she has made.
And when the time came,
Her voice rang out in vibrant tones,
Painting the very walls in effect.
"I am a eminence, I am a conqueror.
I will leave my footprints on the sands of time."
They told of how her words,
Changed the course of time,
And put nervous, errant energies between nations to rest.
They told of how mothers,
Youths and children yelled "champion" in honour.
Yes indeed,
Her story ended in victory parade as it was meant to be.
