The Last Day of a Dog's Life
It's better that you die.
Why don't you die?
You are a liability in our lives.
You vomit at irregular intervals.
You poop and urinate untimely.
There is no fixed place for you to sit.
You loiter, you scoundrel, you son of a bitch, you creep!
I pray you just die a dog's death.
The dog kept silent.
Listening and absorbing
Each word that was meant for it.
The owner's words pierced deep.
However, it chose to remain silent.
On its last day, its eyes spoke.
The tears that had welled up in those eyes revealed a lot.
I'm now just a day's guest.
Tomorrow I shall die.
You won't have to see my face anymore.
I won't bother you for anything.
Please don't trouble yourself
Thinking more about me on this last day
If I could speak, I would have spoken.
It's better that you understand.
My eyes are wet! Just a day's wait...

You can go to any place
Without having to bother about my food, and stay...
