Filing your every thought, every memory, your future plans, your schedules, whether it be for the day, a week, or years.....
I am amazed of how much can be stored in this file cabinet we call a brain. Some may say they cannot remember last week.
Perhaps it is selective memory.
Maybe a certain file has been tucked away in the back, and catagorized as unimportant, or an unhappy event. Some memories are intricately detailed with colors, scents, sound, and emotions.
The mind is truly a wonderous place. A reel with a lifetime of images that hold a story for each and everyone of us.
They can be summoned by something as simple as a sound, a color, a scent, or an emotion.
To keep these files forever is a blessing, and it's even more wonderful when shared. To be able to pass them down until time comes to delete them.
