Drivel
Defeated you lay there telling tales of your battles.
But as the words drivel all I hear are baby's rattles.

Real struggles you will never know.
A pretender and worst dress at every show.

Your story compels and drives people near.
But I am weary and watch out in fear.

I know how to twist and turn on a dime.
Pretending to parent was your worst crime.

A sook and a villain protected my drugs and Lies.
Tell me your sorrows you'll be met with my sighs.

I love you dearly despite the trouble.
And maybe one day we can clear the rubble.
