Then everything went blank,
A canvas of emptiness, devoid of sight,
But amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope,
A glimmer of light, breaking through the night.

And then I saw you,
A radiant presence, a beacon of grace,
A smile that could melt the coldest hearts,
A touch that could heal the deepest scars.

In those fleeting moments of ethereal bliss,
We danced in a realm where time did not exist,
Laughter filled the air, like music in our souls,
Love, like a river, flowing, making us whole.

But as the seconds slipped away,
The joy began to fade, like a dying ember,
The colors muted, the warmth turned cold,
Leaving behind a void I'll never remember.

The clock ticked relentlessly, counting down,
And the truth unveiled, a cruel revelation,
That life's fragile beauty is bound by time,
And even the brightest stars must face cessation.

In the final breaths of my brain's fading light,
I held on to the memory of your gaze so bright,
But as the minutes dwindled, our connection waned,
Leaving me longing, empty, and pained.
