You showed your mettle with your tactics,

And became a symbol of fearlessness.

Your leadership was not without criticism,
Yet, you remained steadfast in your conviction,
Your vision for India was bold and clear,
And you worked tirelessly to make it appear.

From the Green Revolution to nationalization,
You brought change to a nation,
You showed that progress was possible,
And that every obstacle was surmountable.

Your legacy lives on today,
As we continue to walk in your way,
We look up to you as a role model,
And continue to be inspired by your model.
