Purani thi meri
Chalte chalte bas yun hi
Tujh tak pahuchne ki chahat
Haan, Purani thi meri

Kehna mushkil tha Us roz
Shaam ho chuki thi
Ya din abhi bhi dhal raha tha
Samjhna mushkil tha
Ki tu tha wahan haqikat me
Ya bas mujhe hi dikh raha tha

Kuch kadam badhae
Paas pahuchi
Bheed me tu Kahin chup sa gaya tha
Dhundha tujhe bhot magar
Inn naye chahero me
Tera chehra Kahin kho sa gaya tha

Ghar aayi likhne baithi
Aur likh diya tha tujhe itefaak se
Najaane tera hona meri kahani ka mehes ek kissa tha
Ya meri kahani mein aj tera hona Zururi tha

Kalam rakhi chand ko dekha
Sawal utha ek zehen me
Mulakaat hamari ye Adhuri reh gyi thi
Ya tere naa milne se ye mukamal ho gayi thi
