Quiet in the Arid zone
What do I say?
When conversations halt to an awkward stop.
It's not like I can't talk about the weather,
Or the least, what I thought this days.
Or where in my body aches,
Like I once did back in the days.
Fate is; I can't hear the susurration of the surf,
But closer to me is faith; I can hear the palpitations of my heart.
