17 To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
Isn't that great, that we as writers, understand dreams as much as Daniel did.
God gave Daniel the power to understand visions and dreams of all kind, but what I love most about this wonderful verse is that,"it made me understand how lucky we are as writers to have been given that knowledge."
Knowledge of being writers I mean we are blessed. We are able to write a meaningful story or a poem through the understanding of art, nature, pain and love. He gave us a knowledge to dream and write.
I'm not trying to make the story about writers only but @Writco is a world of writers and dreamers. We may not dream same dreams as other people but we give people hope to dream, through our writings, they dream big.
(Writers need dreamers...)

Let me it breakdown for all to understand.
I am Sello Ndhlovu from North West in Rustenburg. I have discovered my gift of writing at the age of 12. At first I didn't trust my writings but someone close to me encouraged me to keep writing so I did.
As time goes on, I started learning that in order for me to be able to write wonderful stories and poems I have to read different books as you know that reading and writing makes everything possible for anyone.
Witth all of that I still had to challenge myself, not only challenging myself but to have dreams of my own. I dreamed of being my better and greater than I was before but to do that, I need to make time and work hard.
Till this day I joined many competition but I have not won even One. I still dream the same dream. Dream on becoming the greatest writer, To see my work being published. By the way "I'm 24years now but I'll never stop dreaming."
I may not win any competition now but I'll reach where I want to....not today but tomorrow it might be my day. You see, I need dreamers to succeed and they need me as a writer to dream, to have hope and faith.
Dream....
But dream big...
Never lose hope.....
No matter what you may encounter along the way but one day you'll be the winner.
