Hypersensitivity
So,
A few days ago only, I posted about World Citizenship.
And toady I discovered a news where everyone is cursing a MV (musical video).
What MV I'm talking about?
It's called : Curry Police by Candy Fox.
For those who don't know what's going on,
this MV is showing that an Indian man is obsessed with Curry and has a dream to take curry to every part of the world.
He has eaten Sushi ( a Japanese food) but he didn't like it even a bit. He enjoyed it only after eating it with curry.
So now he starts his journey to Japan, to let everyone know about Curry.
Then after 20 years, he is able to reach Japan and open a resturant where Sushi is served with Curry.
But then some Gangsters come in for sushi, and finding the sushi being served with curry, they get furious and take the chef away with them to a remote cave.
There is a Fox God who gives them a magic lamp, they rub it and out of it an image of Lord Ganesha comes out.

Now people are furious about how this MV has insulted Indian culture, India is not just about curry and bla bla bla.
If you listen to the song, it's lyrics are super cringe! Yes I'm admitting that the lyrics are cringe... But.. But.. But...
The whole MV is just a funny and stupid video!
How is this video linked to World Citizenship?
If I can explain in brief, world citizenship is about embracing and respecting everyone around you.
And people's reactions on this MV, this stupid funny MV, is showing their hypersensitive behaviour! And that also a huge mass of people!
I mean... Just watch that MV.. And tell me how.. HOW can such a funny and stupid MV cause such reactions!
It's just some music producer's imagination running wild and vivid and crazy!
There are hell lot of other videos you can look up for and which are way far disturbing.
For instance : The Indian Bhau. I guess all of you know him.. If not then go and look up for it.
Make sure you compare it with this MV I'm talking about.
People use this Indian Bhau's lines as some cool dialogues and are offended by THIS MV!
What the hell!
I could've commented this thing on the MV page but the people there would've eaten me alive!
Why am I being so worked up about this whole thing?
So, almost an year ago, I came across this song called - Sushi Yakuza by Candy Fox, on YouTube.
I liked the song very much!
The MV was so funny!
So I Subscribed immediately and have watched all their MV's afterwards.
At that time it was just one video.
So let me tell you about all the MV's in brief.
After watching the second MV, I realised that it's actually a storyline.
So the first MV :
A grandma has ordered something to eat.
Firstly she is served curry and rice which she throws away.
Then she is served burger, which she again throws away.
Then, she is served sushi, which she likes very much and heats heartily.
So the whole MV is that everyone likes Sushi.
And there are three different gangs : one is the sushi gang, second one is the burger gang, third one is the curry gang.
And in the end all the gangs are vibing to the beats.
The second MV :
Now the Sushi gang is saying that You don't know how to make sushi, you eat curry sushi, you eat, fake sushi, you eat cheap sushi(referring to any modified sushi), you don't know Japanese Sushi.
The gang scolds a Curry sushi restraunt for serving sushi with curry, for it's not the original sushi.
Then there's a huge battle between the sushi gang and the curry gang.
The sushi gang beats curyy gang.
Then they go to a Fox God, which gives them a powerful trident to get a huge salmon for the sushi.
To get that big salmon they fight a certain samurai also, but couldn't get the salmon.
They also kill many men from burger gang also.
The third MV :
There's a samurai.
He and that Big salmon are in love.
They are very happy.
The sushi gang comes to take away the salmon but the samurai beats all of them.
But a gorrila has also an eye on that salmon.
So one day when the samurai went to fetch food for salmon, the gorilla sneaks in and starts dancing with the salmon.
The samurai comes back home and sees them dancing together.
He gets very angry thinking that the salmon is cheating on him.
He leaves that place very angrily.
Then the sushi gang comes and finding salmon all alone, they take her away and kill her to make sushi.
The samurai,after having his anger calmed down, goes back to his love, salmon.
But there he finds out that his house is destroyed and salmon was not there.
He is in deep pain.
He tries to find salmon everywhere while remembering all their sweet memories.
In the end he couldn't find salmon and ends up in deep grief.
The fourth MV :
Some monks are doing their prayers when suddenly they are possessed by a burger soul.
They all start acting strange and become crazy for burger.
They start eating burger and playing video games and all.
Then a girl comes and takes them to the Fox God.
The fox God then starts exorcising them.
There's then a huge chakra on the ground and all the possessed monks are around it.
Then a laughing Budha emerges from the center of the chakra and starts dancing.
Eventually, all the monks are exorcized and then the Budha flies away.
The fifth MV (curry police) :
This MV, I've explained in the very beginning, and is all about how curry went to Japan and modified Sushi.
So now you can understand that these all MV's are just a funny war between sushi and other famous dishes like burger and curry, and these show Sushi being the most powerful and supreme.
The lyrics of all these MVs is crap... It makes no sense!
But it's just for fun!
And taking the fifth MV as a serious offence, the Indians are all over it, and the Japanese are also apologising for what Candy Fox has done.
Seriously?!!
Reading the Japanese comments, I have come to know that Candy Fox is not respected in Japan also.
But but but...
I'm disgusted on this incident because of what I know, what I've seen so far in all of these MV's of this storyline.
Remember when an MV of BLACKPINK showed Lisa( band member) sitting on a chair while an idol of Lord Ganesha placed on the floor along the chair.
Now that I understand as Disrespecting.
But how is Curry representation in Curry police far more disrespecting than that BLACKPINK MV when that MV is still there after removing that particular Ganesha scene while the whole Curry Police MV has been deleted!
What I'm trying to say is that..... Why are people being so hypersensitive over such petty thing??!!! And that also at this huge level!!
I feel like I'm a complete psycho!
Is it just me or is there anyone else also who thinks the same as me on this issue?
Please let me know in the comments.
And one more thing, I do respect my Country, but I respect other countries also, and I believe in understanding things first before showing any hypersensitive tantrum.
