Chapter 3. Dirty politics.
Tom is a hard working person, who doesn't give up so despite having a fight with Robert and loosing his chance, he still continues to work hard. And today is his birthday. Shan is busy making a cake for him. this is a surprise since Tom has almost forget about his birthday. Shan is done with the cake, she lights the candle and enters his room to see him lying on his bed with his head burried in the pillow.
Shan : Happy birth....
hey, what happened to you. it's your birthday Tom. you should be celebrating. why are so depressed.
Tom : 🙄 what's there to celebrate. nothing is good about this day
Shan : oh don't think like that. tell me what happened.
she pulls him out of the sheets.
Shan : tell me.
Tom : ( frustrated) my father called.
Shan : .......... isn't it a good thing. my family never cares about me.
Tom : who told you that he cares about me. he only cares about himself and his money.
Tom gets angry.
Tom : I am so sick of him. I don't wanna see him.
Shan : Tom, it's your birthday after all. I think you should see him. he won't spoil this day at least. please. for me.
Tom : uhh, ok. I'll go. but know that you will be disappointed. he can never change.
