I'm sure we've all heard that catchy slogan of, "Happy tastes good", that DQ is always throwing around. It always seemed so harmless before, just something to catch attention, right? No. It was always so much more than what we all thought.
At first just a few homeless people were disappearing and we thought they'd just left for a warmer place or found somewhere to go that wasn't the street.
After a matter of months some of the elderly from the senior centers were going missing. All of which were people that were harder to notice. Things seemed so much different before their disappearances though. They seemed to smile and laugh more. Happier. Nobody ever thought too much of it, maybe they'd changed something in their lives.
Everything seemed like it was just some weird coincidence for the longest time. It's not like it's unusual to think we notice people being different before something bad happens. We always seem to overthink anyways, right?
What of its not just overthinking though? What if there was something wrong?
